on a warm summery day i had
the priveledge of attending Mary's wedding. it was beautiful.
everything from her dress, to the bridesmaid's dresses, the flowers, the
cakes, the braids and curls in her bridesmaid's hair, the music, the bubbles,
all of it.

the car they rode in from the church
to the reception...

the dance...

i have to admit that this was by
far the best wedding cake i have ever eaten! it was yummy!
:-)
|
| i've known Mary since she was in
7th grade. it is a strange and wonderful thing to see her all grown
up into a beautiful woman, and joining her life together with a young man
that she loves. i'm proud of who she has become. |

her maid of honor, Elisa, with her
fiance! i've also known Elisa since she was in the little group of
7th and 8th grade girls i taught. i did not even recognize her at
the wedding at first - she is even lovelier and grown up now.

Elisa and Michael pose for me.
it was so great to see them, and
the other youth i'd known while at that church (no longer youth anymore
but adults now.) time changes people and circumstances.
